Let’s all work together

Helping new people to the hobby of radio, be it CB or Amateur Radio should be done in a friendly and positive way to ensure that these new commers to the hobby learn what is correct and right. Maintaining a standard of operating ethics within the hobby is vitally important to keeping the hobby alive and well.

There will always be some that choose to use non-type approved radios and ILLEGAL frequencies that is their choice but they should NOT be trying to educate others that it is OK or the correct way to operate from the start. Saying that the ACMA will not act does NOT make it right.

If once an operator has learnt how to legally operate then chooses to break the rules of their own accord they take the risk on upon themselves but please don’t encourage and educate others to do the same.
